CROP Walk for Hunger

“CROP” stands for Communities Responding to Overcome Hunger”.

CROP Hunger Walks help children and families worldwide and right here in our own community to have food for today, while building a better tomorrow.

75% of the money raised for the walk goes to Church World Services for their worldwide efforts to fight hunger and poverty.  25% of the money raised goes to local charities – Interfaith Caring Ministries (ICM), Bay Area Turning Point, MI Lewis, and Lighthouse Christian Ministries.

Christus Victor Lutheran Church participates in CROP Hunger Walks every year.

In light of the resources that we and all of the churches in the Bay Area are putting into Harvey Recovery, both personal energy and financial, we have decided to not have a CROP Hunger walk this fall.  It will be postponed until fall of 2018.
