Craft Afternoon

We are going to do a crafting afternoon at church on Sunday, September 19th at 1:00.  I’m going to make a wreath, but bring any craft project you want to work on.  If you want to make a wreath and don’t know how, I can show you.  We will spread out in the pre-k classroom or the family life center, depending on how many people want to come.  If kids want to come, we have some different craft/coloring things they can do, too.

To make a deco mesh wreath (the kind pictured below), you will need:

1 wire wreath frame (Walmart, Micheals, etc have them)

Deco mesh- at least one roll of 21″ by 10 yards and at least one roll of 6″ by 10 yards.  You can do up to 4 total rolls.

Wired Ribbon- Rolls of ribbon in contrasting or complementary colors that equals 10 yards per roll.  (not necessary if you do extra rolls of deco mesh)

Pipe cleaners- A color that matches your mesh or ribbon.

Decorations that match your theme if you want.  Just mesh with a contrasting ribbon also looks really good.
